The county planning commission voted 5-2 to recommend rezoning about 78 acres at 10171 E. Patrick Henry Road for WestDulles Properties' Iron Horse data center campus, with buildings up to 75 feet. Some members noted no noise study had been done. Supervisors make the final decision.

Supervisors voted unanimously to bring back the tax on data center computer equipment at 45 cents per $100 of value. They did not adopt a proposed raise of up to $3 per $100.
