Tract Mountain Road Technology Park
Tract wanted a data center park on Mountain Road along the Route 33 corridor. It offered $15 million for a water pump station and tank and $6 million for parks. The Planning Commission recommended approval, but supervisors voted 4-3 to deny it, citing water worries.

The county planning commission voted 5-2 to recommend rezoning about 78 acres at 10171 E. Patrick Henry Road for WestDulles Properties' Iron Horse data center campus, with buildings up to 75 feet. Some members noted no noise study had been done. Supervisors make the final decision.

Supervisors voted unanimously to bring back the tax on data center computer equipment at 45 cents per $100 of value. They did not adopt a proposed raise of up to $3 per $100.

Supervisors voted 4-3 to deny Tract's request to rezone about 430 acres on Mountain Road and Winns Church Road for the Mountain Road Technology Park, with five data center buildings and up to three substations near the Chickahominy River.
