⏸️ Pause on new data centers

Council voted 5-2 to pause data centers for 183 days. During the pause the city will not accept or approve permits, rezonings or building permits for data centers. City-owned land near the Jackson airport is left out. Because the vote was not unanimous, it took effect 30 days later. An earlier version was tabled on May 19.
