AVAIO Digital is building a $6 billion data center campus on about 175 acres in an industrial park in Brandon. The first phase, 116 megawatts, is due in 2027. Nearly 1,000 residents signed a petition asking for promises that power bills and pollution won't go up.

🤝 Agreement with the company
Rankin County and the City of Brandon made a deal with ADP Rankin Data Hub LLC to pay a set fee instead of regular property taxes (fee in lieu). It went to the state development agency (MDA) for final approval on Dec. 30, 2025. The terms were not in the agenda.
