Iron Mountain is planning a campus of up to seven data center buildings and an on-site substation on about 500 acres off FM 3349, south of the Samsung chip plant in Taylor. It asked Hutto for sewer service. The first grid-powered buildings could open around 2030; the company is also looking at on-site natural gas power to open sooner.
