Built & running
Stargate AI data center campus (Lancium Clean Campus, Abilene)
Also called: Stargate Abilene, Lancium Clean Campus, Crusoe Abilene
Crusoe built 8 large AI data center buildings on the Lancium campus on the north side of Abilene for Oracle, which runs them for OpenAI's 'Stargate' project. The campus is planned for about 1.2 gigawatts of power. The first buildings started running in 2025, and the city gave the project a large property tax break.
Where things stand: First buildings are running for Oracle and OpenAI; the last of 8 buildings were still being finished in 2026.
🕒 Latest update (May 2026): Buildings 3 and 4 began operating.
