Crusoe 900 MW AI campus for Microsoft (Abilene)

Crusoe is building a second AI campus next to the Stargate site in Abilene, this time for Microsoft. It will have two very large buildings and its own 900-megawatt power plant on site. Crusoe says this brings the whole Abilene site to about 2.1 gigawatts.
Where things stand: Site clearing started in 2026; first building expected online around mid-2027.

🤝 Agreement with the company
Abilene City Council approved an 85% property tax break for the Stargate data center campus built by Crusoe on land owned by Lancium, with Oracle as the main tenant. To qualify, Crusoe must spend at least $2.4 billion of a planned $3.5 billion and create 357 full-time jobs paying at least $57,600.
