Corscale Highlands West data center (Dauphin Highlands golf course, Swatara Township / Steelton)

Corscale Data Centers plans three large one-story data center buildings (409,500 square feet each) on the 228-acre Dauphin Highlands golf course. The county authority sold the course for $45.6 million. Corscale says it will spend $10.5 billion on this site and its Highlands East site nearby.
Where things stand: Corscale filed a lot consolidation and final land development plan with Swatara Township in Sept. 2026. It has not gone to the planning commission yet. The golf course closes Oct. 12, 2026.

🔎 What we checked
- Oct 6, 2026: We checked the Susquehanna River Basin Commission's public list of water applications: there is no water application from this project. As of mid-2026, SRBC said Amazon's Salem Township campus was the only data center it had approved. A data center needs SRBC approval before it runs if it uses up (mostly by evaporation) more than 20,000 gallons a day on a 30-day average, or takes water from its own wells or streams above SRBC limits.
