Prime Data Centers campus at Starpointe Business Park
Also called: Starpointe Data Center Campus, Rover-Fed
A Texas company wants to build seven data center buildings on about 120 acres at Starpointe Business Park in Hanover Township. It would make its own power with 105 gas engines. Township hearings are ongoing, and residents have raised worries about old gas wells under the site.
Where things stand: Conditional use hearings before Hanover Township supervisors began September 1, 2026 and are still going. DEP air permit for the on-site gas engines is pending.
๐ Latest update (Oct 1, 2026): Residents' lawyers said up to 12 old gas wells may be on or near the site; the developer's engineer found one capped well. More study may be needed.
