Spalding Investments data center campus (High Falls Road and South McDonough Road)
Spalding Investments got approval in October 2025 for six two-story data center buildings (1.42 million square feet) on 127 acres near Griffin. It donated 5.5 acres for a future park. No work permits had been sought as of September 2026.

Spalding County's planning board unanimously recommended denying the 75 South data center campus: seven two-story buildings totaling 2.24 million square feet plus a power station on about 292 acres along Tomochichi Road. County commissioners were set to take it up May 28, 2026. It would have been the county's fourth data center. A tracker later lists the project as withdrawn.
