Nolan County commissioners approved a 10-year property tax break for a $7 billion, 200-megawatt Crusoe data center near Sweetwater. The deal includes more than $3 million a year in payments instead of taxes, more than $2 million a year in donations to the county, and limits on water use with well meters to protect the aquifer. The site will make its own power.
