Rushmark data center plan (Rockland Road)

Rushmark Properties asked Warren County to change its code to allow data centers in industrial areas so it can build one off Rockland Road, east of Route 522 and about a mile north of I-66. Several hundred people came to the hearing. The Planning Commission recommended denial.

The county planning commission recommended that supervisors deny a code change that would have allowed data centers in an industrial district (asked for by Rushmark Rockland Road LLC). The company then withdrew it and the August 18 supervisors' hearing was cancelled.
