DC Blox data center at the former Azalea Flea Market site
DC Blox bought the 30-acre former Azalea Flea Market property for $8 million and filed plans for a 65,000-square-foot data center on about 5 acres behind the CubeSmart on Richmond Henrico Turnpike. A bigger rezoning had been turned down after neighbors objected.
Where things stand: Rezoning was denied in 2024; DC Blox filed plans for a smaller building on land already zoned for it in 2025.
๐ Latest update (Jan 16, 2025): DC Blox bought the property.
