Centra Logistics data centers off Darbytown Road (Varina)
Also called: Wagner Urban Logistics Varina Data Center
Centra Logistics planned eight data center buildings off Darbytown Road. Henrico changed its rules so every data center needs a permit and a public hearing. Centra said it should be allowed under the old rules, but the Board of Zoning Appeals voted unanimously against it.
Where things stand: County said the permit would be denied; the zoning appeals board rejected Centra's vested-rights appeal in February 2026.
๐ Latest update (Feb 26, 2026): Board of Zoning Appeals denied Centra's vested-rights appeal.
