Soluna 'Project Kati' bitcoin and AI data center (Willacy County)

Soluna runs an 83-megawatt data center called Kati 1 in Willacy County, next to a wind farm, mostly for bitcoin mining. It plans a second phase for AI, bringing the campus to 166 megawatts. The state grid operator has given the full campus a conditional OK.
Where things stand: Kati 1 (83 MW) fully running as of Sept. 2026; Kati 2 AI expansion planned.
