Proposed
Prometheus Hyperscale Pecos campus
Prometheus Hyperscale wants to build a large data center near Pecos that runs on its own gas power, not the grid. It has no customer yet.
Where things stand: Planned; no customer signed as of August 2026. First 100-150 megawatts could come in 2027 if a customer signs.
๐ Latest update (Aug 24, 2026): Plans were reported for a 1.5-gigawatt off-grid campus near Pecos, growing to about 2.5 gigawatts.
