Raeden AI data center (old glass bottle plant, Jacinto City)
A company called Raeden wants to turn an old glass bottle plant in Jacinto City into an AI data center using up to 79 megawatts. The mayor and council oppose it but say they may not be able to stop it. The city is measuring noise now to set limits.
Where things stand: City leaders oppose it; company wants to start work as early as Oct. 2026. May need a special use permit.
๐ Latest update (Sept 11, 2026): City held a town hall with residents and the company.
