Hunt County commissioners passed a resolution backing a proposed state bill. It would make developers of data centers and other big projects file a sworn public statement with the county at least 30 days before locking in power, water or construction. The statement would list the real owner, power and water needs, cooling type, on-site power and plans for shutting down.
