Proposed
Sangha Renewables Project Genesis data center (solar-powered)
Also called: Project Genesis
Sangha Renewables plans a data center beside a solar farm in Ector County for AI and cloud work. It has about 20 megawatts of power now and wants to grow to about 110 megawatts, mostly by 2028.
Where things stand: About 20 megawatts of power is available now. The state grid operator (ERCOT) gave a conditional OK in 2026 to grow to about 110 megawatts, with more power expected in May 2028.
๐ Latest update (Sept 2026): ERCOT, the state grid operator, gave the 110-megawatt campus a conditional 'base load' OK in its Batch Zero review.
