Brazos County commissioners voted 4-0 to move the tax break deal for a $700 million data center on Texas A&M's RELLIS campus in Bryan to a new company, ThisWay Global, after the first developer went bankrupt. The deal runs 40 years: the county taxes 50% of the property value for the first 10 years and 100% after that. Texas A&M regents and the City of Bryan approved similar transfers earlier.
