Local votes and rules
📜 Data center rules
Upper Macungie Township proposed rules that would allow data centers as a conditional use in its General Industrial and Rural Technology zones. Buildings would need earth berms and must stay 200 feet from homes, schools, and churches. Neighboring Lower Macungie is using it as a model.
