Village council voted 4-1 against pausing data center applications for now and asked for a new legal opinion and stronger wording. A lawyer for the Silver Fox 606 project said it would sue if the village paused applications.

County commissioners voted 4-1 to have staff bring back a one-year data center pause. The county attorney called the legal question a gray area because of two state laws. We did not find a final vote.

⚖️ Court case · Indiantown

A local nonprofit and residents sued the village and FPL over annexing and rezoning the 5,722-acre Tesoro Groves land, where a data center is one possible use. The suit was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice (it cannot be refiled).
