⚖️ Court case · Wheeling
A group of Warwood residents sued Silicon Foundation to stop a data center at the old Centre Foundry site. They say the state data center law (HB 2014) is unconstitutional, that a data center does not fit the site's industrial zoning, and that the project must go through Wheeling's planning commission, zoning board and city council. No ruling was found yet.

In West Virginia, cities and towns decide inside their limits. Outside them, the county decides.
