After a public hearing, Wise County commissioners unanimously passed a resolution asking state lawmakers to limit data centers or give counties power to regulate them. It opposes heavy water use and asks for public reports on power and water use and independent impact studies. A $2 billion project is proposed just across the line in Jack County.
