1500 Gateway data center (Plank Road / Cowan Boulevard)
A Penzance company wanted about 1 million square feet in two buildings on about 84 acres between Plank Road (Route 3) and Cowan Boulevard. The Planning Commission twice recommended denial. City Council turned it down 7-0 because the land is outside the city's data center zone.
