Crane Data Centers 'Project Milo' (Hubbard)
Also called: Project Snow Goose, Deer Creek Golf Course site
Crane Data Centers looked at building a 300-megawatt data center on a closed golf course in Hubbard. City records show the mayor signed a secret deal (NDA) in 2024. No formal plan was filed, the company stopped calling, and the city paused data centers for a year.
Where things stand: The mayor says the project is dead. Hubbard passed a 12-month pause on data centers in June 2026.
π Latest update (July 6, 2026): Residents turned in a petition to put a permanent data center ban on the November ballot.
