Beale Infrastructure De Soto data center campus

Beale Infrastructure is building a $3 billion data center campus on 300 acres in De Soto. The plan grew from 1.14 million to almost 2.9 million square feet, which upset some residents. The company says it will use closed-loop air cooling.
Where things stand: Construction began in April 2026. First phase expected done in 2028.

The planning commission approved Digital Realty's Phase One site plan, one two-story building. Later phases still need city approval.

Residents started a petition to block 'high-impact' data centers by putting the question to a city vote. It could affect later phases of the Digital Realty campus.
