Amazon (AWS) New Carlisle data center campus

Amazon runs a giant data center campus on former farmland near New Carlisle, west of South Bend. It is an $11 billion project, the largest investment in Indiana history. The full campus is planned for about 30 buildings using about 2.2 gigawatts of power.
Where things stand: Running since 2025. More buildings are still being built.
