Prologis data center campus (Shelbyville)
Also called: Prologis Shelbyville Data Center Campus
Prologis wants to build up to 13 data center buildings on about 576 acres on Shelbyville's east side, partly on city-owned land. The city council annexed and rezoned 429 acres despite a 'no' recommendation from the plan commission. Many residents oppose it.
Where things stand: City council approved annexation and zoning of 429 acres in 2026, against the plan commission's advice. Site plans still need review.
๐ Latest update (Jan 7, 2026): The Shelbyville Plan Commission gave the zoning request an unfavorable recommendation.
