CoreWeave data center at Digital Crossroads, Hammond

Decennial Group plans a 450,000 square foot, 180 megawatt data center for AI company CoreWeave on the old State Line power plant site in Hammond. The city calls it the biggest project in its history, about $7 billion including computer equipment.
Where things stand: City approved the development agreement in June 2025. Completion targeted for end of 2028.
