Meta is building a 700,000 square foot data center on a 619-acre site at the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville. It costs about $800 million and Meta promised 100 permanent jobs. Meta said it would open in 2026.
Where things stand: Under construction since January 2024. Meta said it should open in 2026; in July 2026 it was reported as nearing completion.
