Highway 16 Interstate Health Development (data centers plus hospital)

A mixed project near I-75 in Butts County would include about 11 million square feet of data centers, plus a hospital and medical offices. The state filing says $10 billion and about 4.5 million gallons of water a day. The land is owned by the family of Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, news reports say.
Where things stand: Filed for state review in Oct. 2025. Rezoning hearings were expected in Dec. 2025 and Jan. 2026; we did not find the result.
