Atlas Development plans six data center buildings, about 2.3 million square feet, near Adairsville. The state filing values it at $4.5 billion and says it would use closed-loop cooling and about 15,000 gallons of water a day. It aims to be done by the end of 2031.

๐ Data center rules
Bartow County finished a data center ordinance in January 2025. It allows data centers with a 200-foot buffer from the property line and noise limits: 65 decibels by day and 55 decibels at night. County leaders say they welcome data centers.
