AVAIO Perseus data center (Pittsburg Technology Park)

AVAIO Digital plans a 300,000-square-foot data center on the old Delta View Golf Course in Pittsburg. The first phase is 99 megawatts, and city plans allow up to 500 megawatts later. It is already approved, but many residents only learned about it in 2026 and are asking the city to stop it.
Where things stand: City approved it in Nov 2024 and the state Energy Commission finished its approval in Dec 2025. No building start date announced; strong local pushback in 2026.
