Council voted 5-0 to pause all data center applications for 45 days. On May 12 it voted 5-0 to extend the pause to April 14, 2027, while it writes permanent rules.

Council approved the 164-acre Bridgehead industrial project 4-1 after the builder dropped data centers. Data centers are listed as not allowed there.

Council approved the AVAIO data center unanimously. The state Energy Commission finished its part in December 2025.
