Tioga County commissioners adopted a countywide data center ordinance in December 2025, took public comments, and it took effect February 10, 2026. It covers lighting, noise and vibration, closed-loop water cooling, electricity, and fencing and buffers. Residents had raised a possible site near the Tioga-Lawrenceville line.
