Broken Arrow City Council voted unanimously for a six-month pause on accepting land use applications for data centers, ending December 31, 2026, with an option to extend six more months. It came after a deal for a 52-acre site in east Broken Arrow fell through.

Tulsa City Council voted unanimously to pause new data center construction permits for about nine months, through the end of 2026, while planners study noise, water, power and zoning. Phases 1 and 2 of Meta's Project Anthem can continue.

Tulsa County commissioners approved tax breaks for the Project Clydesdale data center west of Owasso. Ground was broken in October 2025; Google later said it is the company behind it.
