π Other
Henderson City Council decided not to adopt a proposed 180-day pause on data centers. Instead it told city staff to write tougher rules: any future data center would need its own negotiated contract with the city (a development agreement) covering water, power, noise, heat and distance from homes. The city said no data center applications were on file.
π Other Β· Clark County
Clark County commissioners heard calls for a pause on data centers but took no action. They asked county staff to study how data centers affect county services and the county's land use code (Title 30). There is no moratorium in unincorporated Clark County.
β Approved Β· Clark County
Clark County commissioners, sitting as the zoning board, unanimously approved a 56,800-square-foot Switch data center on about 9 acres near Warm Springs Road, next to Switch's existing campus. Switch agreed to plant trees, pay for a sidewalk barrier, and use a closed-loop water system using under 1,000 gallons of public water a day.
β Approved
Henderson's Planning Commission approved a permit (conditional use permit and design review) for a Trammell Crow data center complex: five buildings on 157.3 acres at Bentonite Avenue and Whidbey Road in the Eldorado Valley. The approval lasts six years, to 2030. In March 2026 a real estate agent told the city the data center plan was no longer moving forward.
