The town council voted unanimously for a three-year pause on data centers inside town limits. It followed a data center proposal on about 200 acres off Wright Road. The council also asked staff to draft a full ban.
🚫 Ban
The town council introduced Ordinance 2026-07, which would ban data centers in every zoning district in town. It was sent to the planning commission for review.
