⏸️ Pause on new data centers · Troy

After residents pushed back on a Cloverleaf data center plan, Troy started a six-month pause on data centers. The planning commission backed it on March 12, 2026; the council vote was set for March 16. In June, city staff said Troy would not allow hyperscale data centers and would cap them at 30 megawatts.
