🗳️ Public vote
At Town Meeting, Royalton voters backed a five-year pause on building AI and crypto data centers. They voted by a show of hands. The vote does not bind the town. It asks the Planning Commission to add the pause to the town plan, and the Selectboard must then approve that change. No data center has been proposed in Royalton.
