⏸️ Pause on new data centers · Wayne County
At a special meeting, Wayne County commissioners unanimously passed a 180-day pause on all land use applications for data centers, data center power plants (including nuclear) and related digital equipment (Resolution 2026-04). Officials said county zoning did not cover data centers at all.
