Fairfield County Council passed Ordinance 856, a 12-month pause on data center development on all property in the county. Town halls are planned in Jenkinsville (Oct. 22), Ridgeway (Jan. 7) and Winnsboro (Jan. 21), and new zoning rules are expected by June 2027.
