Vantage 'Project Latigo' data center campus south of Cheyenne

Vantage Data Centers plans a 480-megawatt data center campus on 1,835 acres south of Cheyenne. It would make its own power from natural gas and use a closed-loop cooling system with water from wells on the site. The zone change was an early step.
Where things stand: County commissioners approved a zone change in September 2026. More permits are still needed. Vantage hopes to start building in 2027.
