A small data center is planned near the Lost Cabin gas plant in eastern Fremont County. It would run on natural gas. Fremont County has no countywide zoning, so the county has little say.

Fremont County has no zoning outside towns, so nothing stops a data center there. After residents objected to a planned site near Lysite, commissioners talked about zoning just for data centers. No vote was taken.
