Penzance Bedington data center campus
Also called: Bedington Campus, High Impact Intelligence Center
A $4 billion data center campus planned on 548 acres near Bedington. It would have about 1.9 million square feet of buildings and up to 600 megawatts of computing power. Part of the site is in flood zones near Opequon Creek. Because it is state-certified, the county has no say over it.
Where things stand: First project certified as a high impact data center by the state (Feb. 2026). No start date announced.
๐ Latest update (Feb 26, 2026): Gov. Morrisey announced the $4 billion campus and signed its certification as the state's first high impact data center.
