Oppidan edge data center (Beaver Dam)

A smaller 'edge' data center of 90,000 square feet is planned on 13 acres in Beaver Dam. It would use less than 20 megawatts of power and about 5,900 gallons of water a day. The builder will pay the city $6.5 million for public infrastructure.
Where things stand: The city council approved the land sale and development deal in April 2026. It must be mostly built by July 31, 2028.
