Local votes and rules
πΊοΈ Zoning change
Morrow County commissioners held a hearing on rezoning about 1,298 acres of Threemile Canyon Farms land west of the Boardman Airport from farm and 'Space Age Industrial' to General Industrial, with an overlay allowing only very large (exascale) data centers. A county planning slide from April 2026 shows the 1,300-acre exascale data center overlay in place. Amazon later bought the land.
