Proposed
Amazon data center site above Arlington
Also called: AWS Arlington
Amazon bought about 400 acres above the small town of Arlington. It says a data center there could one day be as big as its campuses in Morrow and Umatilla counties. Amazon says it will take many years, because it still needs permits, power and tax deals.
Where things stand: Amazon bought about 400 acres in 2024-25; says building is many years away.
๐ Latest update (Feb 2025): Amazon was buying another 30 acres from the Port of Arlington for $3 million.
