Proposed
Project Andromeda (AVAIO Digital, Oxford Township)
AVAIO Digital wants to build a 250-megawatt, four-building data center campus on 146 acres in rural Oxford Township. With a future tenant's spending, the total could be $5.5 billion. Township trustees would have to approve it and lift their own ban on data centers.
Where things stand: Needs township zoning and trustee votes; trustees have a local ban on data centers they would need to lift.
๐ Latest update (July 9, 2026): AVAIO's plan became public; a town hall was set for the following Tuesday in Sandusky.
